Google Search Console to identify queries
Yoast provides a lot of useful hints when doing final touches in WP but sometimes it lacks the fact that you’re writing for people not for search engines. Btw Google’s algorithm acts more like a real person.
Things you simply have to do such as structured content, readability, no grammar errors, images, multimedia, social sharing, etc.. These are the small things that will attract more people to your website by giving a good reason to share it or link to it.
I found a lot of useful info in Mangools SEO Academy.
It’s not only about on-page seo when talking about traffic. You need to work on linkbuilding. I mean, SEO is a complex thing. You can’t do only one thing and skip others. Fingers crossed 🙂
